About Skye
Most people can pick a color they like
Few can see what most people can’t. I see your new space in my mind before I can draft it.
I also see more color than most people physically can.
I grew up in a teepee. I’ve lived in a tiny house, a cramped New York apartment, and a large home with a view. I have learned a huge kitchen done wrong is worse than a tiny kitchen done right.
Years of living small taught me: bigger doesn’t mean better.
Living large taught me: a sprawling kitchen & living room sounds like the dream, until you can’t hold a conversation with someone eight feet away.
It looks fancy, but falls apart in real life.
Most homes get designed to look good in photos, but don’t work for the people living in them. I design around your priorities and hopes, not an algorithm. Then I handle every choice, from first idea to final install. So you get a home that looks & works as you imagined — only better.
I design rooms that photograph beautifully, but that’s not all: the people living in them love them.
